Randy J. Hunt

founder & designer

Originally from Orlando, FL, Randy relocated to New York City
to earn an MFA in Design from the School of Visual Arts.
In addition to Citizen Scholar, he co-founded Supercorp,
an e-commerce software company, where he continues
work on product development and interaction design.

Randy was included in PRINT's New Visual Artists 2009 and STEP Inside Design's Field Guide To Emerging Talent 2008.
His work has also been honored by the Type Directors Club, HOW, Communication Arts, the ONE show, and the American Advertising Association.

He lectures on design entrepreneurs and design responsibility. He has been a guest critic at Parsons The New School for Design, The Cooper Union, and Mississippi State University. His writing and interviews have appeared in PRINT magazine, Massive Change, VOICE AIGA Journal of Design, Speak Up, Lemon magazine, and other publications.

Ross Pike

A Maine native, Ross recently returned to the graphic arts industry after serving 3 years in Bolivia with the Peace Corps Organization. Prior to his Peace Corps service Ross earned his Bachelors in Fine Arts in Graphic and Interactive Design from Ringling College of Art and Design. Following school Ross was accepted to a brief design placement at Why Not Associates in London.

While in rural Bolivia, Ross worked as a consultant, coordinator and educator in a sanitation unit, focusing on human-environment relations, water resources, health and alternative waste management. During his time there, Ross’s grassroots experiences in relative isolated communities inspired an eagerness to apply his capacity as a designer towards initiatives and entrepreneurs that promoted sustainable business and ecosystem models.
