Citizen Scholar created a website and content management system for a photojournalist capturing some of the most important stories of our time. An emphasis was placed on framing the stories first with text, then allowing the powerful images to reveal the story one at a time.
While in the field—like when he’s embedded in Iraq—Luke’s access to internet is infrequent and limited in bandwidth. The public and administration sections of the site take this into consideration with an extreme economy of images and code.
